§ 1 General Provisions

(1) These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded between you and Satsuki Matcha GbR (Anna Lisa Dünwald & Mateo Ruska Martin), Vopeliuspfad 6, 14169 Berlin, Germany ("Satsuki") via our online shop at satsukimatcha.com.

(2) A consumer within the meaning of these Terms is any natural person who enters into a transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.

(3) Deviating terms and conditions of the customer are not recognised unless Satsuki expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

§ 2 Formation of Contract

(1) Our online shop contains a range of matcha and tea products available for purchase.

(2) By placing an order, you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected products.

(3) The ordering process works as follows: select your products, review your cart, and proceed to checkout. By clicking the purchase button, you are redirected to our payment provider to complete payment.

(4) Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Satsuki does not store your credit card or payment details.

(5) The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email.

§ 3 Prices and Payment

(1) All prices listed on our website are final prices and include the applicable statutory value-added tax (VAT). Shipping costs are shown separately during checkout.

(2) The available payment methods are displayed during the checkout process.

(3) Payment is due immediately upon placing the order.

§ 4 Delivery

(1) Delivery conditions and estimated delivery times are displayed on our website and during checkout.

(2) For consumers, the risk of accidental loss or deterioration of the goods passes to you upon delivery.

(3) For business customers, the risk passes upon handover of the goods to the shipping carrier.

§ 5 Retention of Title

The delivered goods remain our property until payment has been made in full.

§ 6 Warranty

(1) Statutory warranty rights apply. You are entitled to the legal remedies provided by German law in the event of defects.

(2) Please inspect goods upon delivery and report any visible damage or defects promptly.

§ 7 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies to all contracts between you and Satsuki.

(2) The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.

(3) If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin.

§ 8 Customer Information

(1) The contract language is English.

(2) The contract text is not stored by us after the order is placed. You will receive your order details by email.

(3) The essential characteristics of each product are described in the respective product descriptions on our website.
