We've been passionate matcha drinkers for years, and along the way we fell in love not only with the tea, but with Japan itself: its devotion to quality, its patience, its respect for tradition.

Nowhere is that clearer than in matcha. The care that goes into growing it makes an enormous difference from one cup to the next, and the standard you find in Japan's best cafés has simply not reached Europe yet. We want to change that.

So we work directly with farms in Japan's most renowned tea regions and import straight to Berlin. Our matcha is always first flush: only the tenderest young leaves of the first harvest, stone-ground for a vivid, silky cup.
